The Indian Paint Industry, currently valued at Rs. 70,000 Crore, has been experiencing double-digit growth for the last two decades, positioning it as the fastest-growing major paint economy globally. With over 3000 paint manufacturers in India and a strong presence of global players, the industry is projected to reach Rs. 1 Lakh crore by 2028/9. Pigments, constituting about 30% by volume in paints, play a pivotal role in the industry, with their concentration varying significantly across different applications.
