Vietnamese dairy company Vinamilk will construct two new dairy factories in Vietnam in the Hung Yen and Sơn La provinces, to increase its manufacturing capacity by 20%.

The proposed investment is expected to help Vinamilk strengthen its supply chain and meet the projected demand, both domestic and export, over the next two to three years.

The Hung Yen dairy facility with a total capacity of 400 million liters per year will integrate existing Vinamilk dairy farms, distribution systems, and warehouses.

The dairy factory will manufacture an array of dairy products to cater to Northern Vietnam as well as China, South Korea, Japan, and the ASEAN regions.

The construction of the Hung Yen dairy factory is expected to commence in 2023.

Coming up at Moc Chau, Sơn La province, the second project includes a $130 million dairy complex.
