Vestas wins turbine supply order for 203MW American wind farm

Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas said that it has bagged a 203MW order for powering an undisclosed wind farm in the US.

Under the contract, Vestas will be responsible to supply 45 of its V150-4.5 MW wind turbines to the American wind project.

Vestas said that the order covers the supply, delivery, as well as commissioning of the wind turbines. It also comes with a multi-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement aimed at ensuring the wind farm performs at optimized levels.

Turbine delivery for the American wind farm will commence in Q3 2023 with commissioning slated to be carried out in Q4 2023.

Vestas did not reveal details of the customer and the wind project.
