UAE and São Paulo sign AI partnership at World Government Summit 2024

In a landmark move to bolster global technological innovation, the UAE’s Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Secretariat of Management and Digital Government (SGGD) of São Paulo, Brazil. Announced at the World Governments Summit (WGS) 2024, this collaboration is set to revolutionize São Paulo’s technological landscape by integrating the cutting-edge Falcon Large Language Models (LLMs) into its digital ecosystem, enhancing government services with artificial intelligence (AI).

The deal, inked on the sidelines of the prestigious WGS, underscores a shared commitment between the ATRC and São Paulo’s SGGD to leverage AI for societal benefits. São Paulo, Brazil’s vibrant economic hub, will tap into ATRC’s rich technical expertise, exploring Falcon LLMs and Falcon-powered solutions to streamline digital services across various sectors.
