TransPerfect opens new office in Bucharest, Romania

TransPerfect, a New York-based language and technology solutions provider, has opened its first office in Romania, located in Bucharest.

The TransPerfect Bucharest office will mainly serve as a technology research and development (R&D) hub working on its GlobalLink translation management technology. The new office will also serve as a tech incubator that will promote innovative and creative ideas designed to enable clients to enhance their ability to launch and manage content in various languages.

The TransPerfect Bucharest office joins the existing global network of offices of the company located across more than 90 cities that make up the translation services and technology company.

Phil Shawe – CEO and President said: “Opening in Romania has been a goal of ours for quite some time, and we’re thrilled that this day has finally come. We expect that this office will prove to be a valuable source of innovation for our technology group.”

TransPerfect provides a complete range of services in more than 170 languages to clients across the world. The company claims that 5,000 plus organizations across the world use its GlobalLink Product Suite to simplify the management of multilingual content.

Recently, the company’s remote interpreting division – TransPerfect Connect opened a new contact center in Phoenix in Arizona.
