TCS partners with Jaguar Land Rover to foray into Formula E racing

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced a partnership with Jaguar Land Rover to join British racing team Jaguar Racing as title partner prior to the 2021/22 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.

The racing team will be called Jaguar TCS Racing.

Through the multi-year alliance, the Indian IT services company and Jaguar Land Rover will develop a dynamic platform that will fuel research and innovation, while also guiding towards advanced ideas along with electric vehicles (EV) techniques.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) will draw on its expertise in the field of technology transformation, as well as its experience of working with top players in the EV value chain to help Jaguar TCS Racing become a catalyst for electrification with an objective to advance towards low carbon emissions and sustainable mobility.

The partnership will enable the creative application of data and insights gained from racing to influence the overall growth, development, and evolution of the entire electric vehicle ecosystem.
