Indian IT company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and British automotive company Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) have jointly announced the launch of the latter’s Open Innovation program in Tel Aviv, Israel.

This program aims to drive disruptive mobility innovation and strengthen relationships between Jaguar Land Rover and the Israeli ecosystem, including start-ups, scale-ups, corporate entities, investors, and academia. The initiative is a key component of Jaguar Land Rover’s Reimagine strategy, which seeks to transform the company’s approach to modern luxury with a focus on electric vehicles.

Tata Consultancy Services is said to have been a trusted partner to Jaguar Land Rover for over a decade, contributing to the success of various transformational initiatives across the entire value chain, particularly in areas such as sustainability and digital services.

This new partnership expands the collaboration between the two companies and brings the Open Innovation program to Israel, further supporting Jaguar Land Rover’s Reimagine strategy and its commitment to an electric-first future in the luxury automotive sector.

The Open Innovation program will leverage Tata Consultancy Services’ Co-Innovation Network (COIN) in Israel. This network serves as a platform to identify local technology offerings and scale them into global mobility solutions and services.

The program will explore opportunities in areas such as electrification, connectivity, digital services, metaverse, intelligent enterprise, manufacturing, supply chain, and sustainability.
