Hong Kong-based RD Technologies is combining African banking partnerships, cross-border payment infrastructure and a planned US dollar stablecoin to target business trade settlements. The expansion comes during a strategic transition away from its traditional stored-value wallet business, with regulatory clearance and commercial adoption still to be demonstrated.
