Nine people were killed when a Learjet 60 crashed into a residential area of Palm Beach County, Florida, on November 1, triggering a massive explosion and forcing hundreds of residents from their homes. Air traffic control recordings indicate the pilots reported icing, turbulence and an uncontrollable descent before impact, but federal investigators have not established the cause.
