TC Energy approves C$3bn pipeline projects as AI power demand drives gas expansion
TC Energy has announced approximately C$3 billion in new pipeline growth projects and raised its 2026 earnings outlook as North American natural gas infrastructure faces growing demand from electricity generation and LNG exports. Separate approval of the C$4.9 billion Coastal GasLink Phase 2 expansion adds another major development, but project ownership, financing and construction responsibilities differ substantially across the portfolio.
