Suzlon Group secures 193.2MW wind power project from KP Group in Gujarat
Suzlon Group, India’s largest renewable energy solutions provider, has announced a groundbreaking order win to develop a 193.2 MW wind power project for The KP Group. This significant project, part of Wind-Solar Hybrid and State Transmission Utility’s tariff-based projects, aims to boost renewable energy in Gujarat. The project will feature 92 units of Suzlon’s S120 – 2.1 MW wind turbine generators (WTGs) with a 140m Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower, located in the Bharuch district.
Project Execution and Sustainable Commitment
Suzlon will execute the project, covering the scope of supply, supervision, and commissioning. Post-commissioning, Suzlon will also provide operation and maintenance services. The initiative aligns with Gujarat’s conducive policy environment for renewable energy and reflects India Inc’s commitment to sustainability, particularly benefiting the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) consumer segment.
