Sundown Lithium Project in Québec initiates inaugural fieldwork

Cazaly Resources Limited (ASX: CAZ) has kickstarted its first-ever exploration for lithium mineralisation at the Sundown Lithium Project located in Québec, Canada.

This venture has begun with helicopter-assisted exploration. The primary focus will be on collecting surface rock chip samples from high-priority target zones. Additionally, reconnaissance scouting and sampling tasks will span across various potential outcrop areas within the property’s boundaries.

Exploration Insights from Cazaly Resources’ Management

Cazaly Resources’ Managing Director expressed his enthusiasm regarding this undertaking: “We are very excited to finally be on the ground, after a patient wait, now we have the opportunity to explore the pegmatites of the Gladman Suite, and for the very first time have them assayed for lithium mineralisation.”

Key Project Features and Highlights

The Sundown project stands out as it offers the maiden chance for its pegmatites to undergo sampling and assaying for lithium. This expansive project spans 260km2 and boasts over 200 documented outcropping pegmatites in the renowned James Bay lithium province. High-priority areas, hosting substantial clusters of potential pegmatite outcrops (some of which stretch up to 1.5km in length), are slated for immediate testing.
