Smoothie King deploys ParTech restaurant technology for payment processing

ParTech, a restaurant technology company, said that US smoothie chain Smoothie King has selected the company’s technology for secure, compliant payment processing services at its network of over 1,000 stores.

The company is a fully-owned subsidiary of PAR Technology Corporation.

According to ParTech, Smoothie King in an effort to upgrade its payments processing, was looking for a single payments partner that offers an optimized underwriting and approval process, competitive pricing, seamless onboarding, and centralized support that considerably enhances the payments experience for guests as well as franchisees.

Savneet Singh — PAR Technology CEO said: “We’re excited that Smoothie King has selected PAR Payment Services (PPS) for its payment processing requirements. Smoothie King is currently using ParTech’s unified commerce cloud platform which includes point-of-sale (PoS), backoffice, payment processing services, and PAR hardware.

ParTech’s restaurant POS software, hardware, back-office, and drive-thru solutions are said to be used by over 100,000 restaurants in 110 plus countries.
