Shelf Drilling wraps up acquisition of Deep Driller 7 jack-up drilling rig

Shelf Drilling said that it has closed the previously announced $30 million acquisition of the Deep Driller 7 jack-up drilling rig from Aban Offshore Limited, an Indian offshore drilling services provider.

The deal was announced in June 2022.

Shelf Drilling said that its fully-owned subsidiary has wrapped up the sale and acceptance of the high-spec jack-up rig, which has been renamed Shelf Drilling Victory. Built in 2018, the Deep Driller 7 rig is of Baker Marine Pacific Class 375 design.
