Gaming hardware manufacturing company Razer will open RazerStore Las Vegas (LV) next month at The LINQ Promenade, marking its retail expansion into Las Vegas.
RazerStore Las Vegas opening date will be 7 September 2019.
RazerStore Las Vegas is considered to be the world’s biggest RazerStore to date and its second in the country after San Francisco.
Owned by Caesars Entertainment, The LINQ Promenade is an amusement center in Paradise, which has nearly 22 million global visitors annually. The LINQ Promenade is expected to be the perfect spot for Razer and its partners to entertain gamers.
Christine Cherel – global director of RazerStores, commenting on the opening of RazerStore Las Vegas said: “It was totally natural for us to build our next retail presence in Las Vegas, where so many of our fans would be able to experience and enjoy our entire gaming ecosystem.
“Together with Caesars Entertainment, we have been scouting for the perfect spot for over a year – and now we have found it, right at the heart of one of the best places for entertainment in the world.”
Spanning 2,400 square feet over two levels, RazerStore Las Vegas will feature a huge 16-HD-panel-display wall broadcasting interactive live streams and tournaments.
PC gamers can play the latest blockbuster titles on the Razer Blade gaming laptops and console gamers can play games on Panthera Evo arcade sticks or Wolverine controllers.
Mobile gamers can show off their gaming expertise on the 120-Hz display-powered Razer Phone 2.
Commenting on the opening of RazerStore Las Vegas, Shaun Swanger – senior vice president of attractions, retail and leasing at Caesars Entertainment said: “The introduction of Razer to The LINQ Promenade will create an immersive destination for gamers at the heart of the Strip.
“With the addition of Razer, The LINQ Promenade and Las Vegas continue to thrive as the global epicenter of tourism, technology and entertainment.”
The lower level of RazerStore Las Vegas will have ten battlestations, hosting 5v5 gaming tournaments while streamers can pop into the Razer Streaming Lounge to start off an instant live stream to their fans on the upper-level mezzanine.
The opening party of the gaming store will feature streamers such as MissesMae, OpTic DI3SEL, AvaGG and Jericho and guests will get a chance to play Xbox’s new Gears 5 in advance before it releases early next month.
The first US RazerStore was opened at the Westfield Mall in Downtown San Francisco in May 2016. Two more stores of Razer are situated in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
