RattanIndia Enterprises takes full ownership of RV400 maker Revolt Motors

RattanIndia Enterprises has taken full ownership of Indian electric motorcycles manufacturer Revolt Motors following the closing of a deal announced in October 2022.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

RattanIndia Enterprises forayed into the electric vehicles business in 2021 by acquiring a stake of 33.84% in Revolt Motors. By acquiring the remaining 66%, RattanIndia Enterprises will pursue to substantially scale up the latter’s growth and make it the largest EV two wheeler company in India.

Currently, Revolt Motors, whose flagship EV bike is RV400, has taken its pan-India reach with 30 dealerships across the country.
