Ramkrishna Forgings wins $2.6m per annum order for supplying metal bars

Ramkrishna Forgings has bagged a contract worth INR 205 million ($2.58 million) per year for supplying metal bars to a provider of rubber tracks for farm equipment and snowmobiles.

The company, which has awarded the contract is also engaged in solid and bias tyres for material handling equipment, and is a major construction market player for track and tyre solutions for small heavy equipment.

According to Ramkrishna Forgings, the order can potentially provide an annual business of INR 800 million ($10 million).

Based in Kolkata, Ramkrishna Forgings is a supplier of rolled, forged, and machined products.

Lalit Khetan — Ramkrishna Forgings Executive Director and CFO said: “In order to significantly diversify our presence across various industries, we have secured another order in the non-auto segment. Because of our diverse product line and technology, we have been awarded a significant order worth INR 205 miilion (USD 2.58 million) per year for the supply of Metal Bars.
