Radico Khaitan Limited debuts The Kohinoor Reserve Indian Dark Rum

Radico Khaitan Limited, a leading name in India’s liquor industry, has introduced its latest product, The Kohinoor Reserve Indian Dark Rum, at the IAADFS Summit of the Americas held in Florida, USA, from April 14 to 17, 2024. Radico Khaitan, known for its vast portfolio including the Rampur Indian Single Malt Whiskies and Jaisalmer Indian Craft Gin, is expanding its offerings with this new entrant into the luxury spirits market.

The Kohinoor Reserve Indian Dark Rum, priced at US$ 49.99 for a 70cl bottle with an alcohol volume of 43%, is distilled in small batches using fresh cane juice exclusively during the North Indian winter season. This premium rum undergoes initial maturation in American Oak Barrels previously used for Indian Single Malt, followed by additional aging in Cognac XO and Vermouth casks, adding layers of complexity and flavor.

According to Abhishek Khaitan, Managing Director of Radico Khaitan, the launch of The Kohinoor Reserve Indian Dark Rum is a celebration of Indian craftsmanship and the company’s dedication to bringing luxury Indian spirits to the global market. “This launch celebrates Indian craftsmanship and reiterates our commitment to taking luxury Indian spirits to the world,” Khaitan stated during the unveiling.

Following its launch, The Kohinoor Reserve Indian Dark Rum will be available in key global markets including the USA, UK, EU, Asia, and Global Travel Retails in the coming months, marking a significant expansion in Radico Khaitan’s international presence.
