Quess Corp, Fairfax to set up CMC Vellore Paediatric Specialty Centre

Quess Corp Ltd., an Indian business services provider, is joining forces with Canada-based Fairfax Financial to set up CMC Vellore Paediatric Specialty Centre with an investment of INR 300 crores.

In this connection, the two firms have signed a memorandum of association (MoA) with Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore.

CMC Vellore Paediatric Specialty Centre will be a 350-bed speciality paediatric centre at CMC’s Kannigapuram campus in Vellore, Tamil Nadu.

Fairfax Financial and Quess Corp aim to provide paediatric medical and surgical services at CMC Vellore Paediatric Specialty Centre. Apart from treatment, the facility will focus on education, training, and research to help meet the medical requirements of patients coming from various parts of India as well as from abroad for consultation and treatment.

Upon its completion, the speciality paediatric centre will be located in a building to be called Fairfax-Quess Block and will add to the existing capacity of the multi-specialty medical institution in Vellore.
