Patel Engineering wins Rs 525.3cr contract for irrigation project in Telangana
Patel Engineering Limited (NSE – PATELENG & BSE – 531120), in a significant development for India’s infrastructure and irrigation sector, has been awarded a contract valued at Rs. 525.36 crore by the Irrigation & CAD Department, Government of Telangana. This landmark project involves the construction of a Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) Protection Wall spanning 8.5 kilometers along both the right and left flanks of the Munneru River, extending from Polepally to Prakashnagar in the city of Khammam, located in the Khammam District.
In addition to the construction of the RCC Protection Wall, the contract encompasses the building of embankments stretching 2 kilometers each on either side of the River Munneru near the Nagarjuna Sagar Left Bank Aqueduct in Khammam City.
