OLI Insurance Services acquires Valley General Insurance Services

Heffernan Insurance Brokers’ subsidiary OLI Insurance Services has acquired California-based Valley General Insurance Services for an undisclosed price.

Valley General Insurance Services will continue to be headed by its president David Tuckness. It will continue to autonomously operate as a subsidiary agency making use of the market access and resources of OLI Insurance Services and Heffernan Insurance Brokers.

John Prichard Jr. – president of OLI Insurance Services said: “Valley General is a great addition to our network of owned insurance agencies.

Previously, a part of Archway Insurance Brokers, Valley General Insurance Services was founded in 1975. The company is engaged in providing commercial lines and personal insurance products.

David Tuckness had joined the company in 1989 with a focus on the construction sector and had subsequently become a partner and eventually the sole shareholder.

David Tuckness said: “We are thrilled to partner with likeminded professionals at OLI Insurance Services.

“OLI will enable my team to write more business while providing our existing clients with more carrier options.”
