NIIT to offer specialization programs for Sushant University students

NIIT Limited, an Indian skills and talent development company, has announced a partnership with Sushant University for offering the upcoming batches of the latter with Bachelors in Computer Applications (BCA) and Bachelors in Technology (B Tech) in Computer Science specializations in banking and finance, and StackRoute – Full Stack Product engineering, respectively.

Sushant University is a Gurugram-based education institution.

The objective of the partnership is for providing future ready programs to enhance learning and employability for fresh graduates and help them get the required skills for becoming job ready industry professionals right from Day 1.

Students who select BCA and B Tech in Computer Science at Sushant University in the 2021 admission year will get an option to enrol for the specializations from NIIT, which will be delivered during the second and third year of their degrees.

The specialization programs will be virtually delivered to learners through interactive instructor-led sessions. The sessions will be led by qualified industry professionals as well as experienced faculty at NIIT to impart industry exposure, hands-on learning techniques, and job training.

Apart from that, the students will get to attend webinars with industry professionals in all the semesters of their degree.

According to NIIT, the banking and finance specialization for BCA students has a duration for nearly 300 hours split across two semesters. On the other hand, the StackRoute – Full Stack Product engineering specialization, a Full Stack Development program for B Tech students is for over 800 hours distributed across three semesters.

After completing the programs successfully, the learners will be offered full placement assurance apart from NIIT certificates.

Earlier this month, NIIT joined forces with Axis Bank to launch a digital banking academy aimed at creating fintech professionals for the latter.
