Neenah Enterprises acquired by Charlotte Pipe and Foundry

Charlotte Pipe and Foundry, a manufacturer of cast iron and plastic pipe and fittings, has acquired Neenah Enterprises, a manufacturer of construction and industrial castings, based in Neenah, Wisconsin.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Neenah Enterprises has three manufacturing plants located in Medley in Florida, Neenah in Wisconsin, and Lincoln in Nebraska.

Hooper Hardison — Charlotte Pipe and Foundry President and CEO said: “This acquisition in an adjacent sector builds on our core competency in the manufacturing of grey iron castings. We believe that Charlotte Pipe’s financial strength and manufacturing expertise will strengthen Neenah’s portfolio.”

Founded in 1901, Charlotte Pipe and Foundry operates seven plants in the US, which produces cast iron soil pipe and fittings and plastic pipe and fittings. Presently, the company is constructing a new greenfield foundry operation east of Charlotte, which is expected to be commissioned in Q3 2023.
