Narayana Hrudayalaya Q3 FY22 profit after tax up by 10.2% to Rs 97.5cr

Narayana Hrudayalaya has reported a profit after tax (PAT) of INR 97.5 crores for the third quarter of the fiscal year (Q3 FY22), an increase of 10.2% compared to INR 40.8 million in the same period of the previous fiscal year.

The Indian healthcare service provider registered a 27.9% growth in its total operating income for the reported quarter ended 31 December 2021 at INR 959.6 crores, compared to INR 750.4 crores in Q3 FY21.

For the first nine months of the fiscal year 2022, Narayana Hrudayalaya made a profit after tax of INR 273.2 crores, which is an increase of 9.9% compared to a loss of INR 82.3 crores in 9M FY21. Its total operating income in FY22 was INR 2,759.7 crores, compared to INR 1,744.6 crores in 9M FY21.

Based in Bengaluru, Narayana Hrudayalaya operates a chain of multispecialty, tertiary, and primary healthcare facilities. Its network is made up of 21 hospitals and four heart centres in India alongside an overseas footprint coming through a hospital at the Cayman Islands, a heart centre at Chittagong, and a managed hospital at St. Lucia.
