Missouri Central Credit Union selects Bankjoy for enhanced digital banking experience

Missouri Central Credit Union, based in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, has chosen Bankjoy to modernise its digital banking offerings. This decision follows a thorough evaluation of various vendors and comes as part of the credit union’s strategy to enhance its member experience with a leading-edge digital platform. With nearly $78 million in assets, Missouri Central Credit Union sought a solution that could provide a seamless, sophisticated digital experience comparable to those of major national banks.

Bankjoy’s award-winning digital banking platform and Online Account Opening solution were selected to support Missouri Central Credit Union’s mission of delivering a top-notch digital experience. The credit union’s leadership was particularly impressed by Bankjoy’s advanced functionalities, including online and mobile banking, e-statements, and integrated online loan applications. These tools are designed to offer a user-friendly experience and streamline account management for current and new members alike.

Josh Wooley, President and CEO of Missouri Central Credit Union, highlighted the importance of maintaining strong member relationships and providing innovative, cost-effective technologies. He noted that after a comprehensive review process, which included interaction with Bankjoy at the Elevate 2024 user conference, the credit union found Bankjoy’s solutions to be well-aligned with their needs. The platform’s ease of use and efficiency were key factors in the decision.

The partnership will enable Missouri Central Credit Union members to benefit from Bankjoy’s comprehensive digital platform. This includes a fast and secure Online Account Opening process, which is designed to verify user identity through ID uploads and selfie matching, completing account creation in just 90 seconds. The platform supports enrolment via mobile, online, or in-branch channels, offering flexibility and convenience.

Michael Duncan, CEO of Bankjoy, emphasised the company’s commitment to empowering community financial institutions.
