Mastek joins £1.2bn DIPS framework to enhance UK defence digital strategy

Mastek, a leading digital engineering and cloud transformation partner, has announced its inclusion in the UK Ministry Of Defence’s (MOD) prestigious Digital and IT Professional Services (DIPS) framework. Awarded a place on Lot 1 of the framework, Mastek is set to offer solutions in enterprise and tech architecture, data management, innovation, tech assurance, and knowledge and information management. Additionally, Mastek will serve as a subcontractor for Qinetiq Limited on Lot 2, which covers development, applications, user experience, DevOps, systems design, and application support, and on Lot 3, focused on cyber security, cryptography, security operations, and integrated systems.

The DIPS framework, facilitated by the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) and valued at approximately £1.2 billion over four years, aims to support the MOD with its digital strategy in crucial areas such as data, modern technology, cyber defence, and digital capability delivery. This framework is critical for meeting the demands of the Defence’s transformation objectives and is aligned with the goals of Defence Digital. Mastek’s involvement is expected to provide the MOD access to a broad range of industry skills and resources, ensuring cost-competitive and timely digital solutions.
