Maruti Suzuki Ertiga S-CNG : BS6-compliant version of Ertiga CNG launched in India

Maruti Suzuki Ertiga S-CNG launch : Indian automobile manufacturer Maruti Suzuki has introduced the BS6-compliant version of the Ertiga CNG, at a starting price of INR8.95 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Exclusively available in the VXi trim, the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga S-CNG is now the second BS6-compliant CNG model to be introduced by the Indian car manufacturer after Maruti Suzuki Alto. The company has revealed that the CNG vehicles are equipped with dual interdependent ECU’s and intelligent injection system.

Commenting on the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga S-CNG launch, Shashank Srivastava -Executive Director, Marketing and Sales of Maruti Suzuki, said: “As a market leader we are constantly working towards offering sustainable mobility solutions to our customers. The new Maruti Suzuki Ertiga S-CNG is said to offer a mileage of 26.08km per kg.

According to Maruti Suzuki, the BS6-compliant version of the Ertiga CNG comes with Intelligent Injection System and dual interdependent ECU. The MPV of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga S-CNG is claimed to help in consistent performance across all terrains.

The Indian automobile manufacturer claims that the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga S-CNG is high on safety courtesy of its leak-proof design and integrated harness.

The BS6-compliant version of the Ertiga CNG comes with an auto-fuel switch that enables easy switching of fuel from petrol to CNG in order to avoid any jerks.
