Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals reports Q3 FY22 PAT of Rs 969cr
Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) has registered profit after tax (PAT) of around INR 969 crores for the third quarter of the fiscal year 2022 (Q3 FY22), compared to a loss after tax of INR 76 crores in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.
The subsidiary company of ONGC said that its gross revenue from operations for the reported quarter was INR 25,238 crores in comparison to nearly INR 14,136 crores in Q3 FY21. Its exports revenue stood at INR 9,317 crores during the reported period, compared to INR 1,675 crores in the corresponding quarter of the fiscal year 2021.
Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals’ throughput during Q3 FY22 was 4.37MMT, compared to 3.08MMT in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year. The energy downstream company said that it had achieved crude throughput of 116.44% of the capacity utilization.
Last month, Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals had commissioned a desalination plant, which is expected to mitigate a major risk faced by the company pertaining to water availability.
