Mahindra Logistics Limited, a front-runner in integrated logistics solutions in India, has inaugurated a substantial 1 lakh sq. ft. extension to its existing multi-client warehouse in Nashik. Furthermore, the company announced the development of a new 3 lakh sq. ft. warehousing facility, expanding its total warehousing footprint to an impressive 5 lakh sq. ft. in Nashik, Maharashtra. This expansion will position Mahindra Logistics as the provider of the largest warehousing space in Nashik. The new facility is expected to be operational by the end of Q3 2024.

Strategically situated to provide easy access to key industrial and manufacturing clusters, as well as consumption markets in Nashik City, Aurangabad, Satpur, Silvasa, and others, these facilities are set to enhance logistics operations significantly. The state-of-the-art facilities will be a significant addition to Mahindra Logistics’ pan-India network of multi-client warehousing, further strengthening its distribution capabilities.

Sustainability and Technological Integration
In line with Mahindra Logistics’ sustainability standards, the new facilities will incorporate renewable energy usage, recycled construction materials, efficient liquid discharge management, and adherence to waste management requirements. Notably, the facilities will be equipped with on-site solar power generation, solar charging for cargo vehicles, and innovative green cement flooring, replacing traditional materials.

Mahindra Logistics and its partners plan to invest Rs. 100 crores in establishing these facilities, which are expected to generate employment opportunities for more than 300 individuals in the region.
