Luisa Fulci joins HM Courts & Tribunals service board as new non-executive director
In a significant move to bolster its leadership team, the UK HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) has announced the appointment of Luisa Fulci as a new non-executive director to its Board. This appointment, effective from 1 April 2024, was made by the Lord Chancellor, Lady Chief Justice, and the Senior President of Tribunals, highlighting the strategic importance of this role in the operations of HMCTS.
Luisa Fulci brings to the HMCTS Board a wealth of experience, particularly in digital transformation, customer service, and commercial operations within customer-facing organizations. Having operated at board level for over a decade, Fulci’s expertise is expected to significantly contribute to the HMCTS’s ongoing efforts to modernize and improve its services. Currently serving as the Digital, Customer, and Commercial Services Director for Dudley Metropolitan Council, Fulci’s background combines a solid understanding of public sector challenges with a proven track record in driving change and enhancing service delivery.
Before her latest role with HMCTS, Luisa Fulci also contributed her skills and insights as a non-executive director at the East Kent Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust, further demonstrating her capability to guide and influence high-stakes organizational strategies and transformations within the UK’s public sector.
The HMCTS Board, overseen by Chairman Sir Richard Broadbent, plays a crucial role in directing the operations and strategic vision of HMCTS. With the addition of Luisa Fulci, the Board is poised to enhance its focus on digitalization, customer relationship management, and operational performance.
