The partnership between LTTS and Marelli introduces an advanced Digital Twin platform, constructed on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and enhanced by LTTS’s expertise. This platform offers a virtual representation of a vehicle’s entire electric-electronic architecture, including information clusters, infotainment systems, Zone Control Units, and the body itself. Utilizing the Digital Cockpit powered by Qualcomm Technologies, Inc.’s latest generation Snapdragon Cockpit Platform, alongside LTTS’s cloud-based virtualization solutions, the Digital Twin technology is set to drastically reduce software development times by up to 70% and prototype costs by up to 30%.

This innovative solution was highlighted at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024 in Las Vegas, drawing significant attention to the potential impacts on the automotive industry. The collaboration between Marelli and LTTS not only accelerates the software development process but also significantly lowers the costs associated with prototype creation, heralding a new era of efficiency and innovation in automotive design and development.
