L&T Technology Services, Ansys establish digital twin CoE

L&T Technology Services (LTTS) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Ansys, a provider of multiphysics engineering simulation software, for setting up the LTTS-Ansys Center of Excellence (CoE) for Digital Twin.

The center will assist the Larsen & Toubro subsidiary in demonstrating industrial usage cases, developing innovative solutions for the future, and assisting its customers to improve their manufacturing, design as well as supply chain process.

Ansys’ Twin Builder solution will enable L&T Technology Services to expand the market for its services in the digital twin area.

The CoE will allow the Indian pure-play engineering services company to demonstrate digital twin proofs-of-concept to its customers and accelerate the adoption of these solutions. This collaboration will allow L&T Technology Services to satisfy the increasing need for digital twin technology as well as give access to the latest tech-savvy talent.
