LG Electronics unveils high-efficiency DUALCOOL Air Conditioner at MCE 2024
In an exciting development for the HVAC industry, LG Electronics (LG) has unveiled its highly efficient new DUALCOOL residential air conditioner at the MCE 2024 exhibition in Milan, Italy. The event, which is one of Europe’s largest gatherings for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning professionals, runs from March 12-15. This new offering from LG brings together cutting-edge air conditioning technology and sophisticated design to deliver a year-round comfortable indoor environment.
The LG DUALCOOL air conditioner stands out with its ‘interior fit’ design and matte finish, making it not just an appliance but a stylish home accessory. At its core, the DUALCOOL features a dual outlet structure for rapid temperature adjustment and a gentle airflow that avoids the discomfort of direct cold air. Its energy efficiency is top-notch, thanks to the Dual Inverter Heat Pump Compressor, earning it an A+++ EU energy efficiency rating.
A notable innovation is the Soft Air function, designed for customized cooling experiences. This feature allows the air conditioner to deliver a soothing breeze by directing airflow downwards from the ceiling, addressing consumer demands for less direct and more comfortable cooling. The DUAL Vane system, with its ability to send air in multiple directions, significantly enhances the effectiveness of temperature control. This system extends the airflow range to 22 meters and increases cooling and heating performance by up to 23 percent and 6 percent, respectively, compared to previous models.

With rising energy costs across the EU, LG’s DUALCOOL air conditioner offers several features to help manage and reduce energy consumption. The model’s impressive 9.5 Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) and 5.1 Seasonal Coefficient of Performance (SCOP) demonstrate its efficiency in both cooling and heating modes. The kW Manager and ThinQ app integration allow users to set energy usage targets and monitor consumption in real time, promoting energy-saving habits.
Furthermore, the DUALCOOL’s Human Detection Sensor and Window Open Detecting feature adapt the unit’s operation to the presence of people and open windows, ensuring that energy is not wasted.
LG has also prioritized ease of maintenance with the DUALCOOL air conditioner. The Auto Cleaning and Freeze Cleaning functions prevent mold formation and eliminate bacteria, dust, and odors, ensuring the unit remains hygienic over time.
