Larsen & Toubro bags two offshore contracts in oil and gas sector

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) said that its hydrocarbon business has bagged a couple of offshore contracts valued in the range of INR 1,000 to 2,500 crores from a “prestigious” overseas client.

According to the Indian conglomerate, the scope of work includes engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning for expanding a marine terminal as well as replacing electrical switchgear and protection equipment at existing facilities.

Currently, Larsen & Toubro is said to be undertaking various domestic and international offshore projects.

Larsen & Toubro stated: “The company is also committed to building its regional presence in geographies that it operates by growing local skills and talent, improving procurement from local vendors, engaging commercially with local contractors on the foundation of a sustainable workload.”
