Komar Industries acquires waste processing equipment provider BACE
Komar Industries, a designer and manufacturer of industrial waste and recycling processing systems, has acquired BACE, a manufacturer of heavy-duty balers, compactors and equipment service provider for the recycling and waste management industry, and self-contained compactors in the waste and recycling sector.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Mark Koenig — Komar Industries President and CEO said: “BACE has earned a strong reputation within the waste processing equipment industry for its high-quality products, state-of-the-art technology, and customer service-focused orientation and has been scaling rapidly as a result.
“Through this partnership, we now have the opportunity to offer a wider set of products and capabilities to offer our collective customers, including an enhanced aftermarket service platform.”
According to Komar Industries, the existing leadership team of BACE will continue to lead the company and will get a stake in the combined entity as part of the deal.
Komar Industries said that the respective leadership teams of the two firms see a great amount of value in utilizing each other’s engineering and technological capabilities to fuel further innovation within the waste and recycling sector.
