KMEW to supply high-speed patrol boat to Visakhapatnam Port Trust

Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works Limited (KMEW) said that it has been issued a letter of award (LoA) from the Visakhapatnam Port Trust for a high-speed patrol boat under a contract worth INR 2.19 crores.

The contract calls for the supply, manning, and operation of a patrol boat with a speed of 15 knots speed on a hire basis for a period of three years round the clock.

According to Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works, the project is to be carried out within a three-year period. The contract is extendable further for a couple of more years at an additional contract value.
