KEC secures Rs 1,040cr in international transmission and distribution orders

KEC International Limited, a leader in the global infrastructure projects space and a key player in the EPC industry, has secured significant new order wins worth ₹1,040 crores. These transmission and distribution contracts bolster the company’s international market presence, particularly in regions like the Americas and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

The orders comprise a major contract for power transmission projects involving the supply of towers, hardware, and poles in the Americas, as well as a 220 kV transmission line project in CIS. This milestone highlights KEC International Limited’s growing footprint and ability to execute critical global infrastructure projects.

He emphasised that the ₹1,040 crore contracts strengthen the company’s standing as an EPC industry leader while also expanding its international market presence.

This year, KEC International Limited has achieved a year-to-date order intake of ₹17,300 crores, driven by its expertise in executing complex power transmission projects across various geographies. Its subsidiary, SAE Towers, has played a pivotal role in securing contracts in high-growth regions like the United States, Mexico, and Brazil, contributing to the surge in transmission and distribution opportunities.

KEC International Limited’s success in securing these ₹1,040 crore contracts aligns with the global shift towards modernising power transmission projects.
