KEC International bolsters portfolio with new orders worth Rs 1,065cr

Global infrastructure EPC major, Ltd., an Company, announced the receipt of new orders totalling Rs. 1,065 crores. The majority of these orders are concentrated in the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) sector, spanning across , Africa, and the Americas. Furthermore, orders have been received for the supply of various types of cables both in India and overseas.

Gaining Momentum in the Transmission & Distribution Business

The secured T&D orders include a 400 kV transmission line and GIS Substation order from a renewable power generation subsidiary in India, and a 400/220 kV AIS Substation order from a leading private developer in India. The company will also supply towers in Africa and towers, hardware, and poles in the Americas through its subsidiary, SAE Towers.

Expansion in the Cables Business

Apart from the T&D business, KEC International has procured orders for the supply of various types of cables. These orders are expected to cater to customers both domestically and internationally, reinforcing KEC’s market position in the cable supply industry.

, MD & CEO, KEC International Ltd., expressed satisfaction with the new order wins. He stated, “We are pleased with the new order wins, especially the consistent inflows in Domestic T&D business. These orders have significantly enhanced our India T&D order book and further diversified our clientele.” Kejriwal highlighted the alignment of the company’s work with the Indian Government’s focus on renewable energy and the market growth seen by their subsidiary, SAE Towers, in the Americas.

With these latest orders, KEC International’s Year-to-Date (YTD) order intake has risen to approximately Rs. 4,500 crores, marking a growth rate of around 30% compared to last year.
