Kalpataru Power Transmission renamed as Kalpataru Projects International

Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd. (KPTL), an Indian engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractor, has officially announced a change in its corporate name to “Kalpataru Projects International Limited (KPIL).”

This alteration has been approved by the company’s shareholders and regulatory authorities, including the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. Effective from 22 May 2023, the EPC company will operate under the new name “Kalpataru Projects International Limited.”

For the past 40 years, Kalpataru Power Transmission has established itself as a highly esteemed brand in the EPC sector. Following the strategic merger of JMC Projects (India) Limited with Kalpataru Power Transmission, the company has become one of India’s prominent listed diversified engineering and construction firms.

It boasts a substantial global presence and operates across various business segments, including power transmission and distribution, water, buildings and factories, railways, urban infrastructure, and oil and gas pipelines.

With an impressive order book, including L1, reaching approximately ₹50,000 Crores, KPIL is experiencing an all-time high. The newly approved name, Kalpataru Projects International, truly reflects the company’s diversified EPC business, global presence, and upholds its associated values and legacy.
