Jubilant FoodWorks clarifies on partnership with RattanIndia’s Revolt

Jubilant FoodWorks, the master franchise for Domino’s Pizza in India, said that RattanIndia Enterprises’ Revolt Motors is not its exclusive partner in electrifying its fleet of delivery vehicles.

Recently, RattanIndia Enterprises stated that its subsidiary Revolt Motors had entered into a partnership with Jubilant FoodWorks to transform the existing petrol bike fleet of Domino’s Pizza in India to electric bikes.

However, Jubilant FoodWorks issued a statement that Domino’s Pizza in India is working with various business partners/vendors for transforming its delivery fleet to all-electric. The company said that Revolt Motors is one of those business partners and its current share of business on electric vehicles is under 10%.

Jubilant FoodWorks said that it is increasing the use of electric vehicles for Domino’s Pizza within its delivery ecosystem with a goal to further decrease the carbon footprint resulting from vehicular emissions.

RattanIndia Enterprises had earlier said that Domino’s Pizza will procure the complete existing inventory of the RV300 bike model of Revolt Motors. It further added that the pizza chain will progressively procure a customized Revolt electric motorbike model for transforming its fleet.
