Infosys to partner Shell Global Solutions for inventory optimizer solution
Infosys has been selected by Shell Global Solutions International as the commercialization partner of the latter’s Shell Inventory Optimizer solution.
Through the partnership, Shell Global Solutions and the Indian IT services provider will launch Shell Inventory Optimizer as the first product for its energy customers.

“We are delighted to bring this innovation to market together with Infosys. The collaboration enables us to accelerate the development of this product and develop new and innovative features.”
According to Infosys, the solution makes use of artificial intelligence to help companies to streamline warehouse inventory levels based on historical consumption.
Infosys claimed that by enhancing demand planning, the new solution cuts down the time and labor needed for completing maintenance operations, while reducing the operation costs.
The Indian IT giant said that the collaboration will further consolidate the long-standing relationship between the two companies that has existed since 2000s.
