Genesys International wins Rs 155cr deal with BMC to transform Mumbai with advanced mapping technology
In an unprecedented move, Genesys International Corporation Ltd, a trailblazer in the field of mapping technology, has clinched a groundbreaking deal worth Rs. 155 Crores with the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). Through this deal, Genesys International will develop, implement, and maintain a highly accurate 3D city model and map stack, with a commitment to regular updates over the next three years. The project encompasses the creation of a unified mapping platform that integrates various layers, including a 3D reality mesh model, base map with advanced features, street imaging, Digital Surface Model (DSM), Digital Terrain Model (DTM), and a change detection map. These innovative tools are designed to empower municipal departments, government agencies, and citizens, enabling informed decision-making that supports the city’s developmental agenda.
