Infosys to help Envision AESC build cloud-based platform for battery plants

Indian IT company Infosys has forged a partnership with Envision AESC to help the battery technology company build a cloud-based platform powered by Infosys Cobalt.

The modular platform will enable Envision AESC in digitizing and automating manual processes at its electric vehicle (EV) battery manufacturing facilities.

According to Infosys, the cloud-based platform will initially look to digitize important processes that call for an extreme level of human intervention.

In the long-term though, the platform is expected to help in boosting productivity, increase end-to-end visibility, and streamline quality monitoring by using data-driven reporting and analytics tools.

Furthermore, the extensible cloud-based platform will provide a rich user experience apart from bringing scalable, resilient, and predictable performance of business applications across various regions.
