Infosys implements Oracle Cloud ERP solution for Telenor Norway

Infosys said that it has collaborated with Telenor Norway for transforming the latter’s finance and supply chain operations by implementing a standardized, Oracle Cloud ERP solution.

The Indian IT firm said that it was selected to help Telenor Norway on the ERP transformation program for its standardized solutions, skilled talent pool, reusable assets, and ability to expedite solution deployment.

Infosys said that by working together with the business and IT teams of Telenor Norway has implemented a future-proof, standardized Oracle Cloud ERP solution to help move from a legacy ERP system to boost operational efficiency and business agility.

Terje Borge — CFO of Telenor Norway said: “Telenor Norway needs to continuously raise the bar in its operational performance to serve as the trusted digital partner for its consumer and enterprise customers.

“IT as a business enabler plays a critical role in this objective. The ERP transformation program is one of the steps in making Telenor agile and efficient.”

According to Infosys, the standardized, Oracle Cloud ERP solution has been implemented across 10 entities of Telenor Norway in nine months including modules like R2R (Record to Report), P2P (Procure to Pay), A2R (Acquire to Retire), O2C (Order to Cash), and others.

Recently, Infosys secured a five-year contract extension from Roland-Garros to become the French Open tennis tournament’s official digital innovation partner till 2026.
