Indian tech giant Wipro debuts 5G-Def-i Innovation Center in Austin, Texas

Indian tech services and consulting giant, Wipro, has unveiled its cutting-edge 5G-Def-i Innovation Center in Austin, Texas, underlining its commitment to assisting clients in capitalizing on 5G technology through safe, sustainable, and compliant products and services.

The innovation hub aims to employ Wipro’s 5G Def-i platform to provide 24×7 product qualification, compliance, pre-certification, and interoperability testing with industry accreditation in a controlled environment that emulates real-world conditions.

The 5G-Def-i Innovation Center in Austin will serve as a platform for Wipro engineers and researchers to certify 5G smartphones, tablets, modules, and IoT endpoints’ compliance with stringent standards for network accessibility and data performance. Additionally, it will play a critical role in qualifying the performance of 5G mobile network infrastructure to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency.
