Global insurance brokerage Hub International has acquired the assets of Oregon-based Ward Insurance Agency for an undisclosed price.

Ward Insurance Agency, which has offices in Eugene, Medford, and Portland, is an insurance agency that offers commercial and personal insurance, employee benefits as well as risk solutions. The company has been catering to businesses and individuals throughout the West for the last five decades.

Ward Insurance Agency has specialization in multiple industries such as construction, hospitality, healthcare, manufacturing and wood products. Hub International said that Ward Insurance Agency’s business supports its specialty practices by complementing and bolstering its existing capabilities.

Erik Finrow, who is the President of Ward Insurance Agency, will become an Executive Vice President of Hub Northwest, and will be responsible for providing the direction, vision and strategy for the company in Oregon. The Ward Insurance Agency team will also join Hub Northwest.
