HDFC Bank Q4FY23 results : Indian private banking group HDFC Bank Limited has reported a net profit of INR 125.9 billion for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2023 (Q4FY23), an increase of 20.6% compared to INR 104.4 billion in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.

The earnings per share (EPS) of HDFC Bank for the quarter ended 31 March 2023 was INR 22.6, while the book value per share was INR 518.7.

For the year ended 31 March 2023, the consolidated net profit of HDFC Bank was INR 45,997.1 crores, which is an increase of 20.9% compared to the year ended 31 March 2022.

The consolidated net revenue of the Indian private sector banking group during the reported quarter was INR 345.5 billion, which is an increase of 20.3%, compared to INR 287.3 billion in Q4FY22.

For FY23, its consolidated net revenue was INR 1,268.9 billion, which is a 16% increase compared to INR 1,091.1 billion in FY22.

HDFC Bank’s total balance sheet size as of 31 March 2023 was INR 2,466,081 crores, a growth of 19.2% compared to INR 2,068,535 crores as of 31 March 2022.
