HCL Technologies to digitize key business process of ams OSRAM

HCL Technologies said that it has expanded its digital transformation partnership with Austrian optical solutions provider ams OSRAM to digitize one of the latter’s key business processes.

The aim of the extended partnership is to drive standardization of enterprise resource planning and customer relationship management systems across ams OSRAM.

Frank Fehler — Senior Vice President of HCL Technologies said: “Our extended partnership with ams OSRAM creates an exciting opportunity to build on HCL’s existing successes in Germany and the wider DACH region.

“The decision to enhance our existing engagement with this additional scope also demonstrates the immense trust and lasting relationship we have established with ams OSRAM over the last two years to drive digital transformation together.”

HCL Technologies said that it will also continue to steer the IT infrastructure operations integration for the Austrian electronics company.

The Indian IT services provider said that the partnership will enable increased maturity in the digital execution capabilities of ams OSRAM besides fueling global IT operations excellence by boosting agility and scalability to expedite innovation. For enabling this, HCL Technologies will build and operate a modern digital foundation through data center, hybrid cloud and network transformation.

The Indian firm said that it will also improve the end-user experience via increased use of artificial intelligence (AI), automation and self-service capabilities, process modernization, IT service management, and service integration and management.

According to HCL Technologies, its vast capabilities in managing complex, hybrid technology environments and its FENIX 2.0 digital engineering and execution framework made it ideally suited to fast track the digital transformation roadmap of ams OSRAM.
