HCL Technologies launches HCL SoFy and HCL Now cloud native solutions
HCL Technologies has launched a cloud native solution factory called HCL SoFy and a cloud-native-as-a-service offering dubbed HCL Now in a move to further boost its #HCLCloudSmart offering.
The suite of cloud offerings, solutions, products, and services under #HCLCloudSmart are said to help clients achieve business transformation according to their unique industry needs and market conditions.
HCL Technologies said that the HCL SoFy and HCL Now solutions have been driven by considerable investments it has made for evolving and modernizing its product portfolio along with its long-term commitment to cloud native.
The company said that its HCL Software division’s cloud native strategy combines a technical platform rooted in the most broadly used cloud native technologies with the choice and freedom that enables each customer to adopt cloud native in a manner that best meets their own specific business goals.
HCL SoFy, which is the company’s foundational cloud-native platform, enables clients to deploy enterprise software in minutes on any cloud they wish without vendor lock-in and also to scale to enterprise requirements.
HCL Now, on the other hand, is said to unleash the full potential of the company’s capabilities in products and services on a cloud platform of client’s choice.
According to HCL Technologies, the cloud native capabilities of HCL SoFy and HCL Now depend only on Kubernetes and continue to be fully cloud agnostic. The company said that this flexibility facilitates easy migration across cloud providers, better business agility, lowered risk, while helping customers in implementing a multi-cloud strategy.
Darren Oberst — HCL Software Sr. Corporate Vice President and Head said: “The foundations of our architectural strategy, Cloud Native and API First, gives our clients the ability to rapidly innovate new capabilities and components across our products – from automation, DevOps, commerce and marketing, digital solutions and security.
“It gives strategic choices to our clients to avoid ‘lock-in’ and have the flexibility to control their data, mix-and-match among different tools, and to build their own solution architecture.”
