Goodluck India ramps up production capacity of cold drawn welded tubes

Goodluck India Limited said that it has ramped up its production capacity by approximately 25% to around 10,000 MTPA for its auto tube division.

The Ghaziabad-based pipes manufacturer said that the expansion was taken up after identifying the huge potential of cold drawn welded tubes (CDW tubes) in the automobile sector in the Indian as well as overseas markets.

Goodluck India Limited expects to see a robust demand from overseas buyers for its cold drawn welded tubes.

Formerly Good Luck Steel Tubes Limited, the company claims to be a dominant player in the US for several years. The company said that demand in the auto sector is a fast tracked mode around the world.

After Covid-19, demand in the auto industry in India has surged as well, said Goodluck India Limited.

The company’s chairman MC Garg said that the expansion of production capacity will be a game changer for its future prospect.
